Raw vanilla Icecream

In summer time I love making my own raw ice creams. They are not only delicious, creamy and healthy but can be made in a whizz. Ideal for busy people and those who like to avoid dairy, sugar and gluten

Ingredients: makes for two people

  • 3 Bananas frozen (I peel very ripe banans, place them in a ziplock bag and freeze, take then out as needed)
    • little almond milk or any other dairy free milk to process
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and pinch of salt and turmeric

Preparation:
Chop the bananas, place them int he food processor. Start processing and while its on, adda blittle almond  milk, vanilla essence and pinch of salt. keep processing until it becomes a smooth creamy texture. Ut will take about 3-4 min. Scoop it out in Ice cream bowl. Decorate with chopped walnuts and cranberries and enjoy!

Variations:

Add 2 tbsp of dark raw cocoa powder and a dash of agave syrup for a Chocolate flavour.

Add frozen blueberries or raspberries to for a Berry flavour.
